📚 Invitation for Chapter Contributions
Chaukhambha Classica in Collaboration with Ayurveda Research & Career Academy (ARCA) launching a Mega Textbook Project.

Dear Esteemed Ayurveda Academicians and Practitioners,

We are pleased to announce that Ayurveda Research & Career Academy (ARCA), in collaboration with Chaukhambha Classica, is preparing a series of textbooks and reference books based on the latest NCISM syllabus for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Ayurveda.

As part of this academic initiative, we invite applications for chapter contributions from dedicated faculty members, researchers, and Ayurveda practitioners for various subjects across the curriculum. Each selected chapter will be peer-reviewed and published in the upcoming volumes under renowned Ayurvedic publication standards.

🔹 Interested contributors are requested to submit their application/consent form with subject preference. After evaluation, the selected authors will be assigned specific topics for chapter writing.

📌 Terms & Conditions for Chapter Submission:

1. Eligibility: Contributors must be MD/PhD in Ayurveda or practicing Ayurvedic experts with adequate teaching/research experience.

2. Originality: The chapter must be an original work of the author and free from plagiarism.

3. Format: The chapter must be written as per the provided format and submission guidelines (which will be shared upon selection).

4. Language: English/Marathi/Hindi or Sanskrit as per the book theme.

5. Timeline: Chapter submission should be completed within the stipulated deadline after topic assignment.

6. Editorial Rights: The editorial board reserves the right to review, modify, or reject the chapter if it doesn't meet quality or ethical standards.

7. Revenue Sharing: Selected authors will be eligible for royalty/revenue-sharing as per the model designed by  hachambha classica (details to be shared post-approval).

8. Certification: All published authors will receive a certificate of contribution and acknowledgment in the book.

9. No Prior Publication: The chapter should not be published elsewhere in any form.

📖 Publication Process
Step 1: Chapter Submission
Authors are required to submit a chapter on the topic assigned by ARCA  or as per the NCISM syllabus. The chapter can be written either in Hindi or English. A nominal submission fee will be applicable at the time of submission.

Step 2: Initial Review
Once submitted, the chapter will be reviewed by a subject expert. Based on this review, the chapter will either be accepted or rejected. The decision will be communicated to the author through email.

Step 3: Review and Editing Fee
If the chapter is accepted, the author will need to pay a review and editing fee of ₹5000. This step is mandatory for moving forward in the publication process.

Step 4: Expert Review Process
After payment, the manuscript will be forwarded to the reviewer team for detailed expert comments. Authors must revise and modify their chapters according to the suggestions provided and ensure alignment with the NCISM textbook format.

Step 5: Author Agreement
Following the final approval, the author will sign an agreement with Chaukhambha Classica. The agreement will include royalty details, and the fixed percentage of revenue will be equally distributed among all contributing authors.

Step 6: Final Publication
The final publication of the book will depend upon the completion of all required steps by every contributing author. Only after all chapters are finalized and approved will the book proceed for publication.
